The genre has grown cold of late. If only I had any artistic talent, I would be happy to create some. Every once in a while, you see something at Deviant Art, but you don't want to tick off the artists by reproducing their work without permission.
What we have here is an old chestnut. It is a photomanipulation of
Melissa Coates, in her bodybuilding days, flexing over a lion-skin. It was used as an illustration for a story by Sam at Diana the Valkyrie, in which Melissa protects a helpless baby by killing 6 lions with her bare hands (including breaking the necks of the last two in simultaneous headlocks, one in each arm). A great story but a little far-fetched. Unless she became a giantess, she could not possibly completely encircle the neck of a single lion with just one arm.
Looking at the pic today, you can marvel at how beautiful Mel was 15 years ago.
